Smores Dessert in a Jar

I've seen many desserts baked directly in a Mason jars and I wanted to try it and see how easy it was.

I looked at a few similar recipes I found on Pinterest and tried to come up with an easier way make this dessert. I think this is pretty cool and very easy.

What you need:
Chocolate cake mix (plus ingredients to make the cake)
1 1/2c Graham crackers crushed
1/2 stick butter
bag of marshmallows
8-10 Mason jars
Non-stick cooking spray like Pam

First, clean and spray the inside of each jar with cooking spray. Next, melt butter and mix well with graham cracker crumbs. Divide the graham cracker mixture into the bottom of each jar, pressing down to compact and make flat.
Follow the directions to make your cake mix. Scoop enough cake mix into each jar until about half full. Place the jars in a baking dish with about 1-2 cups water in the bottom. Place in the oven at 350 degrees for 30 minutes. Checking them occationally and insert a kitchen skewer to check if it comes out clean. Once they're done, remove them from the oven. Set the oven to broil. Take 2-3 marshmallows and cut them in half and place in each jar. Place them back in the oven and WATCH THEM or they will burn. I literally sat in front of my oven. Once the tops are golden remove from the oven.
Serve once the jar is easily handled but still warm and gooey.
